Ingenia Gardens residents across Western Australia are spreading the festive spirit to collect baskets of Christmas treats, household stables and food hampers to donate to the Salvation Army. Ingenia Gardens Western Australia operations Manager Kerrie Robinson could not have been prouder of the efforts and the achievement of all the residents, who recognised the need to lend a hand.
“Our residents have been really generous, donating baskets of food over the past few months,” she said. ” They know Christmas can be a time where many families struggle to afford the sorts of things most of us take for granted, something as simple as a hamper of can food can make such a difference.”
The residents of Ingenia Gardens enjoy coming together as a community and doing something nice for others all year round, but there is something extra special when it can impact families in a positive way especially over Christmas.
The residents and Community Managers wanted to donate their items to the Salvation Army as they do so much valuable work in the local communities, and were more then willing to support their efforts by donating items that would make a difference to others over Christmas.
