White Ribbon Day is an annual day dedicated to the prevention of violence against women.
Ingenia Gardens have taken part in this day, as it is something our communities are very passionate about.
Ingenia Gardens Taree residents contributed towards a Guinness World Record attempt to knit the world’s longest awareness ribbon. Residents unveiled their contribution on National White Ribbon Day (23rd November).
The ladies handed over their contribution to Taree Police Station, where donations from all over Australia will be stitched together to hopefully break the current world record of 4,103m.
We have also had the Ingenia Gardens Carey Park craft ladies make hundreds of white ribbons to create awareness.
This is an important cause the communities take part in and shows the dedication our residents and staff of Ingenia Gardens have to creating strong awareness for White Ribbon Day.
